Water-based primer specially formulated from natural ingredients to prepare absorbent surfaces for final coating with Edward Bulmer wall and ceiling paints. Economical and easy to apply, this clear primer should be applied to all fresh plaster and some lining paper and wherever large amounts of wall filler have been used. This primer is breathable so perfect for lime plaster. NB: NOT to be used on woodwork, please see our water based eggshell primer for preparation on woodwork.

Please check our practical painting advice - if you are painting onto a very absorbent surface, you may need more paint, and for best results, you may need to prime your surfaces.
