Take the waters of Africa’s most well-known river and mix the palest version of the beautiful translucent colour still known as Eau de Nile (in our terminology). This will work well as the palest, subtlest wall colour or for an off white where a cooling effect is needed – for instance in certain lights or with other hot colours. Our Water Based Eggshell has a satin finish with 20% sheen so still has a softness to it. Perfect for woodwork and metalwork this finish is easy to apply. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.
Our Water Based Gloss is our highest satin product with an 80% sheen. This product is perfect for interior and exterior woodwork and metalwork with a durable finish. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.

Edward Bulmer’s totally natural paints fill our Dorset home wiht sublimely beautiful colours, which fill me with joy. The shades shift subtly as the light changes, and that adds an extra dimension of delight.
Each colour feels so carefully considered and they have a beautiful finish on the wall. We love to use colours that are less ’true’ as they work so well throughout the year, changing in tone with the seasons. It was this that drew us to Drab green.
