The whitest minerals used in the past were lime and chalk which gave pure white paints when used with water to form lime wash and distemper. Soft distempers were commonly used for ceilings and would literally be washed off before repainting. Modern formulations with a plant-based binder and titanium dioxide allow us to achieve Pure White of these early paints but with the durability of emulsion and without the chemical bleaching process for mainstream brilliant white.

Our Water Based Gloss is our highest satin product with an 80% sheen. This product is perfect for interior and exterior woodwork and metalwork with a durable finish. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.

We use our local courier service called APC which is based in Hereford. APC operates franchises throughout the country and we can deliver parcels throughout the UK on an overnight service.
We are not able to offer returns, as all of our paint is mixed to order and therefore is a bespoke product.
NB: We will accept returns of non bespoke products which include preparatory products.

Please check our practical painting advice - if you are painting onto a very absorbent surface, you may need more paint, and for best results, you may need to prime your surfaces.
