The legendary source of Indigo gave it its name – literally ‘Indian’. The leaves of trees from the Indigofera family, prevalent there, could be fermented to produce a beautiful dye as well as a pigment. Nowadays we use mineral pigments for their superior light fastness but this evocative colour properly earns its presence in a well judged colour range. Traditionally oil paints were used to decorate with deep colours as they could ‘manage’ the pigment loading. Today our taste for a matt finish means we embrace the powdery rather than shiny look you get from rendering these colours in emulsion and this colour takes on a wonderful velvety feel. A deep, rich blue which looks wonderful in a study. bathroom or a statement front door. Our natural recipes create these beautiful finishes which are plant-based and kind to nature.

Our Emulsion has a soft, matt finish with 2% sheen, perfect for your walls and ceilings. It has great coverage and can be applied evenly in just 2 coats. Works flawlessly over new, primed plaster. Sold in 2.5 and 5-litre tins.
Our Water Based Eggshell has a satin finish with 20% sheen so still has a softness to it. Perfect for woodwork and metalwork this finish is easy to apply. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.
Our Water Based Gloss is our highest satin product with an 80% sheen. This product is perfect for interior and exterior woodwork and metalwork with a durable finish. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.
