The classic recipe for this colour usually used red and blue pigment. This makes a slightly colder tone than ours which we have deliberately warmed up by using red earth and black mixed with lemon yellow to give the blueness, our plant-based recipe is centred around protecting the planets’ finite resources. It makes for a really beautiful neutral which is completely timeless and equally at home on walls or woodwork.
