Clay
Many old colour names refer to natural raw materials and these materials varied from place to place, as did local colour perception. Ours in Herefordshire is a grey/yellow clay which makes a very adaptable shade and is a great hall colour but also sophisticated enough for a contemporary living room. We use only natural pigments from earth and mineral origin to make our natural paint which is as precious to us as the earth from whence they came. Truly sustainable paint which is people and planet friendly.
The hugely versatile Clay is available in lighter shades, so 60%, 40% and 20% lighter which means you can use variations of the same colour to great effect.

We offer all our colours in 3 unrivalled finishes which are all easy to apply, durable, breathable and toxin-free.
Our Emulsion has a soft, matt finish with 2% sheen, perfect for your walls and ceilings. It has great coverage and can be applied evenly in just 2 coats. Works flawlessly over new, primed plaster. Sold in 2.5 and 5-litre tins.
Our Water Based Eggshell has a satin finish with 20% sheen so still has a softness to it. Perfect for woodwork and metalwork this finish is easy to apply. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.
Our Water Based Gloss is our highest satin product with an 80% sheen. This product is perfect for interior and exterior woodwork and metalwork with a durable finish. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.
