November Beauvamp pop-up Monday 4th November- Saturday 16th November Beauvamp is an independent, British lighting brand set up by Alice Moylan in 2007. Now a small team based in Cromford, Derbyshire, they specialise in hand stitched lampshades, combining traditional sewing techniques with contemporary style. Intrigued by the interior aesthetic and lampshade shapes of bygone eras, in particular the Arts & Crafts movement in the early 19th Century, Alice set about investigating a range of almost forgotten crafting techniques. Alice uses Edward Bulmer Natural Paint throughout her home and the colours and textures pair so well, we thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to see some shades hanging against the backdrop of colours in our showroom. Beauvamp offers a modern take on the old fashioned lampshade and is the perfect piece to marry together old and new Each lampshade is made with the utmost care and attention to detail using only the best quality fabrics, threads and trims to create a range of unique heirlooms for generations to come.
